Festival Positions

Admissions: There are two Admissions locations. The Main Entrance (South) is a high volume location where volunteers will be on their feet and need to think quickly. The Building Entrance (North) has a lower volume and slower pace and volunteers can sit. Panegyri T-shirts must be worn during your shift as it identifies us and welcomes all to the Panegyri. Baklava Sundae: Vanilla or Chocolate? Servers take orders and assist as needed, Sundae creators make up the delicious desserts. Cashiers must be a HTSN parishioner, at least 16 years of age and in good standing. Contact Alexzandra Spatholt for more information.
Beer Booth: Interact with guests serving beer in the Beer Garden located in the corner by Gyros. Volunteers must be 21 and older. Contact Daniel Priest and Paul Misali for more information.
Bookstore: Located inside, volunteers assist guests with religious books and other spiritual gifts and items. Contact Gus Siegel for more information.
Chili Booth: Serving up Skyline chili and hot dogs. Yum! Contact Maria Freeman or Alex Freeman for more information.
Church Tour: Located inside, volunteer to help at the entrance of church at the Food and Beverage Check and answer general question. Contact Fr. Jon McClish for more information or questions.
Cultural Exhibition: Help set-up or interact with visitors and monitor the exhibits. Contact Alex Christoforidis for more information.
Dinner Booth: There are several positions needed: servers, runner, salad prep and cashiers. Servers will take and fulfill orders while salad prep will be assembling our Greek salads. Contact Nick Georgiton for more information or questions.
Finance Room: Located inside and a sit-down job, volunteers must be able to count money quickly and accurately. Work is intermittent. Closing shift must be able to work 30-60 minutes after close. Volunteers must be a HTSN parishioner in good standing. Contact Irene Sakelos for more information.
First-Aid: We need help from any person in our community involved in healthcare who is CPR certified such as EMT, LPN, RN, MD, MA, medical student or nurse student who has basic first aid knowledge. Contact Chuck Varnell for more information.
Gyro & Souvlaki Booth: This is the largest and the busiest booth! Volunteers are needed for the following positions: cashier, server, assembler, runner, grill and oven manager. Also sign up to help: Souvlaki Prep: Monday June 24, 5-8pm and Souvlaki Marinade: Wednesday, June 26, 4-8pm. Contact Nektarios Papasavvas for more information.
ID Check: Volunteer to check IDs and puts on wristbands. This is a high volume and high paced position. Volunteers must be 21 years of age and older. Contact Jeff Gaier for more information.
Kafenion: This is our Greek Cafe making and serving hot and cold coffee drinks. Positions needed are cashiers, servers and baristas. Contact Marianna or Eva Sansone for more information or questions.
Kitchen Prep: Our kitchen is an extremely busy place. Help prepare and bake items to supply various booths. Contact George Kalemanis or Niko Alatis for more information.
Lemonade Booth: Make and sell Lemonade and Ouzo Lemonade. Volunteers must be 21 years of age to serve Ouzo Lemonade. Contact Lisa Hasslebusch for more information.
Loukoumathes Booth: Volunteers needed to cashier, make or sell these hot, sticky, sweet favorites. For more informations or questions, contact Chrisanthi Konstantinou.
Mezethakia Booth: There are several positions needed: cashier, server, and preparation. Servers will interact with guests, take and fulfill orders while Food Prep may assemble, fry or grill. Contact Nick or Carla Sarakatsannis for more information.
Parking: Volunteers help manage our church parking lot for our volunteers and vendors. Shaded seating will be available when not actively interacting with drivers.
Pastry Booth: Volunteers needed to cashier, serve and cup our pastries. Contact Carrie Petrou for more information.
Pizza Booth: Positions needed are server/runner, cashier, food prep and oven manager. Servers will take and fulfill orders or make supply runs. Contact Josh Richardson or Maria Panagis for more information.
Quartermaster: Help manage our paper good supplies. Most interaction is with parishioners. It is an indoor position and mostly seated. Contact Nick Sarakatsannis for more information.
Soft Drinks: This booth is geared to our youth. Minimum age to sign-up is 12. Contact Dena Pirkey for more information.
Spanakopita/Tiropita Booth: Volunteers needed to cashier and serve our guests. Contact Connie Georgostathis for more information.
Taverna: Sell and serve Greek wines. Volunteers must be 21 years of age and older. Contact Alison Papathanas or Harry Papathanas if you have any questions.

Volunteers
Welcome Panegyri Volunteers! Click the booth title to go to the desired sign up page. Each booth has different needs, so please read the description carefully for any booth you are considering. Any questions about volunteering, contact Peter Rodish.
Please note:

SignUpGenius: We are once again using SignUpGenius to sign up and track volunteers. This helps us to manage and identify areas of volunteering needs. You must be listed on SignUpGenius as a volunteer to receive a Volunteer T-Shirt or Parking Passes.

Cashiers: Volunteers must be a HTSN parishioner, at least 16 years of age and in good standing. We are once again using Square register system (cash and credit) in all the booths.

T-shirts and Parking Passes: One shirt per volunteer. Parking Passes will only be given for the days in which you are signed up. Shirts and passes will be available for pick up on Sundays, June 15 & 22 after Divine Liturgy.

Check-in with the chair or appropriate coordinator when arriving for your shift and before leaving for any reason.

Bring your reusable water bottle. Our water fountains have bottle fillers. In addition, there will be water coolers.
